James Conrad Baker
Managing Director, LIM srl & Milano Housing · Milan
I work in real estate from both sides: managing homes for owners in Milan and investing in properties myself.
I joined LIM srl, a Milan property management company founded in 2016, in 2017. I first built Milano Housing, its rental platform for international students, researchers and young professionals, and since 2022 I have run the company as Managing Director and shareholder.
Since 2017 I have also handled dozens of property auctions across Italy and restored the homes I acquired. I'm now developing projects in tourism, historic buildings and community spaces.
Marketing and technology have been part of my work from the start: I wrote my first HTML pages in 2001, at the age of 11, and I still lead how we use technology at LIM, from our websites and booking platform to digital marketing, automation and AI.
I'm British-Italian and work in both languages.
